Friends of Heavitree Health Centre

Who are we ?

We are the friends of the Heavitree health centre. we started in 1994 and registered as a charity (1037303), our aim is to provide volunteer help to patients within the practice.


What We do?

  • Transport to the practice hospitals and clinics with befriending and escorting of patients as necessary
  • Assistance with shopping and the emergency delivery of prescriptions
  • Befriending
  • Holding regular events Such as:

"Knit and natter" group

Memory cafe

How we work?

We are supported by grants, sales from our shop, fundraising and donations for the services we provide.

If you need our help, you can ask you doctor to refer you to us or make direct contact.
